Overview

Bible Baptist Church of Huntersville will resume in-person services on Sunday, May 31, 2020 in compliance with our understanding of the CDC’s guidelines for religious and faith-based organizations.

Precautions

• Face masks: encouraged, not required; limited supply available on request

• Hand sanitizer: available in the foyer, the back of the sanctuary, and the basement

  • Congregants strongly encouraged to sanitize before, during, and after the service

  • Due to limited supply, we invite congregants to bring their own hand sanitizer

• Greeting: contact-free

• Song service: reduced      

• Sanctuary seating: strongly encouraged separation of one family per every other row or per every three seats

• Overflow seating: available in basement classrooms (details below)

• Frequently used surfaces: disinfected before each service

• Windows: will be open to increase sanctuary ventilation

Arrival

• Parking: unrestricted

• Entrances: doors will be propped open to reduce interaction with handles; respect other congregants’ distance

• Foyer: should remain clear; limit congestion

Services

• Morning service (worship and sermon): available

• Live stream: available

• Sunday School: on hold

• Nursery care: on hold

  • Private space will be made available to families as needed. Families may also take advantage of the overflow seating in the basement.

• Junior Church: on hold

• In the future: resumption of Sunday School, nursery care, Junior Church, Home Fellowship, and the Gathering

Overflow Seating

• Basement classrooms: available to congregants uncomfortable in the sanctuary. The service will be streamed live on the widescreen televisions in each classroom.

Giving

• Offering plates: available at front of sanctuary

  • No formal offering period will be observed during the service. Congregants may give individually at the start or end of the service.
